How I Dealt with Exam Pressure

Image
Since, I'm a student, and I've been through my fair share of exams. I've experienced exam pressure, and I know how it feels. It can be tough to deal with, but there are things you can do to manage it. Start studying early. The earlier you start studying, the less pressure you will feel. This will give you time to go over the material multiple times and make sure you understand it. Create a study schedule and stick to it. This will help you stay on track and avoid feeling overwhelmed. When you know what you need to study and when you need to study it, it's easier to stay focused. Take breaks. Don't try to study for hours on end without taking a break. Get up and move around, or take a few minutes to relax and clear your head. Taking breaks will help you stay refreshed and focused. Get enough sleep. When you are well-rested, you will be better able to focus and retain information. Aim for 7-8 hours of

Making the Most of My Summer Vacation

Image
After a stressful week of exams, I was finally free to relax and enjoy my summer vacation. I decided to spend my time reading novels, watching web series, visiting my Nani’s house, and spending time with my cousins. I started my vacation by reading a few novels that I had been wanting to read for a while. I curled up in a comfortable chair with a cup of tea and lost myself in the stories. I also watched a few web series that I was delaying to start because of exam. I enjoyed watching Brooklyn 99 a lot which is a comedy series based around a police precinct called ‘The 99.’ After a few days of relaxing at home, I visited my Nani’s place. I love spending time with my Maternal relatives and my cousins. We always have so much fun together. We play games, go for walks in the park, and eat delicious home cooked food made for us specially by Nani. My Nani’s house is in Chandigarh and it is very close to many hill stations so I also went hiking in the woods with my cousins. We hiked to a

Goa+ Friends=Memories for a life time

Image
Wondering where your next travel destination should be? Heading to Goa with your friends is an ideal holiday plan. Being the most popular summer travel destination, Goa is the place to be. Recently, I visited Goa with my friends and what a surreal time it proved to be. Sand filled beaches, accompanied with a wide range of cocktails and mocktails to choose from and aesthetic group photos with friends in the setting sun is what Goa is all about. The picturesque view from every angle, the crystal-clear blue water surrounding you and the serene sound of the waves gently rising makes Goa the rage in summers. The various water sports available for the people who wish to feel a sense of thrill are available on every beach there. From Snorkelling to Scuba Diving to Banana boat rides and Glass bottom boats, they have it all. A ‘water lovers’ paradise, Goa prides itself on its water sports and various training centres that are available to cater to beginners as well. As you go sailing or k

Expectations and Responsibilities

Image
When we are young, we look forward to growing up and becoming an adult. We glorify being an adult, getting the independence we have been yearning for since our childhood and enjoying life to the fullest without restrictions. The realisation of all the responsibilities that come with it only hits us when we embark on the journey of adulthood. Growing up, I was completely fascinated with the idea of being an adult, fending for myself, and all the freedom that came with it. For me there was no downside that I could see, no problems that I had considered I would have and no ‘responsibilities’ that I had noted. Few months away from becoming a legal adult, reality struck and now I was caught up in a whirlwind of a situation. The various societal ‘expectations’, requirements and necessities were now ruling my life. There were questions asked about my academic plans, my future career prospects, the field I would want to pursue and where I saw my life in the near future. I had no definite

Fusion Sports

Hybrid Sports  Combining different disciplines is the key to unlocking new levels of performance. - Laird Hamilton, big wave surfer and fitness enthusiast Fusion sports, also known as hybrid sports or cross-training, are becoming increasingly popular among athletes and fitness enthusiasts. These types of sports combine two or more disciplines to create a new and unique activity that tests the body and mind in different ways. Some examples of fusion sports include yoga pilates, parkour gymnastics, and boxing-MMA. One of the main benefits of fusion sports is the diversity of movements and skills required. By incorporating different techniques and training modalities, athletes can improve their overall athleticism, strength, agility, and endurance. This can also prevent boredom and burnout that can occur from doing the same workout routine repeatedly. Another advantage of fusion sports is the mental challenge they provide. Combining different sports requires athletes to adapt to new situa

My Relationship With Animals

Image
For us humans relationships with animals are complex and multifaceted. We are a part of this huge ecosystem and hence we feel an extremely strong connection to the natural world therefore we are capacitated to form bonds with animals just as strong as human bonds. I have never had an opportunity to have pets in my life, but i have always felt a strong affinity towards animals. Each animal that i have had around has taught me something very different about unconditional love and obedience or just simply caring cor another living being irrespective of reciprocation of any of it. They have taught me patience. These relationships can be incredibly rewarding, but they also require responsibility and care. An incident which was one of the most impactful experiences in my life that taught me about the deep rooted feelings that I have for the animals was my time at the gir safari. Seeing the majestic cheetahs, lions, bulls, rhinos in their natural habitats was extremely exhilarating. It made

Most Difficult Decision

Image
Undeniably, taking decisions is an integral part of everybody’s routine life. Right from minor to major, there are plenty of decisions that we have to take during our lifetime. Here, I would like to highlight a decision that didn’t come easy to me, but I still had to take it. And, it was regarding the study stream to choose after finishing my 10th standard. Due to family expectations and peer pressure, we neglect our likes and dislikes, and comfortably choose the wrong path.         I  exactly remember that time and how confused I was as my parents had given me complete freedom to choose whatever stream I wanted.    While they were still promoting the benefits of taking a non-medical stream, my inclination was more towards commerce. This, in turn, added more to my confusion. My parents had their own justifications as they were aware of the types of prospects and opportunities I could get by taking the non-medical stream. However, rather than opposing their suggestion outrightly, I de
